Blanco

BLANCO, born Riccardo and born in 2003, is an artist from Brescia. Despite his very young age, he was noticed by Eclectic Music, which led him to sign with Island Records, making him one of Universal Music’s youngest talents. BLANCO approached songwriting almost by chance, dedicating his first song to a girl as an experiment in itself, only to discover a natural and spontaneous talent for music. Through music, he realized he could express two completely opposite and seemingly irreconcilable sides of himself: the wild, irrational, disordered, and excessive energy of a young man who lives on instinct and loves being at the center of attention, contrasted with a depth and sensitivity that are strikingly real and genuine. This duality is reflected in his music, with songs that embrace the aggression of punk alongside tracks with more melodic, intimate, and delicate nuances. BLANCO’s style cannot be confined to a single genre, just as his influences cannot. His music speaks without rhetoric, using a raw and untamed language that follows a stream of thoughts breaking conventional boundaries, accompanied by a voice that is instantly recognizable.
